BUF at PAT
Rhamondre Stevenson - The Bills have struggled against running backs, giving up 5 ypc on the year and allowed 6 RB touchdowns in their last 4 games. Treveyon Henderson is a must start but enough room for the Rham to be fantasy relevant this week.
LAC at KC
Quentin Johnston - He’s done very little since his first month of action but during that time he did face the Chiefs where he had 79 yards on 5 catches, 2 for touchdowns. KC has been outstanding against the run so Bolts will need Justin Herbert’s arm for offense. Chiefs are more vulnerable on the outside than over the middle & in the slot. If he can wipe the butter off his hands, could be a good game for him.
BAL at CIN
Keaton Mitchell - The Bengals rank dead last against opposing running backs this season. The Ravens run game goes through Derrick Henry but Mitchell has made plays in limited duty. Last time he faced the Bengals he only had 31 yards but scored a TD. Good chance to score again this week.
WAS at NYG
Darius Slayton - The Commanders are a mess on defense. Injuries have plagued them so they can’t get pressure on the QB and they can’t cover receivers either. That means Jaxson Dart will have all day to throw downfield. Slayton has quietly logged double digits in PPR for 3 of his last 4 games. Sunday could be his best game of the season.
NYJ at JAC
LeQuint Allen - The Jaguars backfield firmly belongs to Travis Etienne. What if I told you since the bye, Allen has out-snapped Bhashul Tuten, including the last game. He’s a teammate favorite. He’s facing a 30th ranked defense vs RBs. If the game is a runaway for Jacksonville, he could be the end of game grinder.
AZ at HOU
Woody Marks - Cardinals have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL. Over the last month, Arizona has given up a whopping 686 yards and 8 scores to the running back position. Nick Chubb is essentially out of the picture which means it is the Marks show. He has top 10 RB upside this week.
CLE at CHI
Jerry Jeudy - Shedeur Sanders appears to have unlocked the Browns pass attack. While last week was against a poor Titans defense, the Bears have been one of the most favorable against opposing WRs this year. Jeudy is the clear top wideout and Cedric Tillman (concussion) is likely out this week, which should mean more targets to Jeudy. He’s primed for another 75+ yard game and score in consecutive weeks.
LV at PHI
Tank Bigsby - Only 4 teams have given up more rushing yards over the last month than the Raiders. In what looks like a get right game for the Eagles, the game could be out of reach for the Raiders in the second half. If that is the case, expect Philly to give Saquon a break & let the Tank grind out the game. Garbage time production still counts for fantasy.
IND at SEA
Rashid Shaheed - While the Colts have been stingy against the run, they’ve been one of the worst against the pass. That prompted the blockbuster trade for Sauce Gardner who isn’t likely to play. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is about to have himself a day but there’s plenty of production to go around. Shaheed poised to surprise.
GB at DEN
Luke Musgrave - The Broncos have been one of the better defenses this year ranking top 5 against running backs and wide receivers. Their vulnerability has been to the TE position. Musgrave was next man up when Tucker Kraft got hurt but has failed to deliver any meaningful production. He’s due for a good game and he stars are aligning for this to be his time.
TEN at SF
Gunner Helm - The rookie has appeared to take over the top TE role in Tennessee. Before last week’s snow game vs Cleveland, Helm had 19 targets in the previous 3 games. The Niners are a bottom 10 vs the TE this year, giving up 5 TDs to the position in their last 5 games. Helm could surprise with just his second score of the season.
DET at LAR
Tutu Atwell - The Rams pass attack is almost exclusively Davante Adams & Puka Nacua. However, before landing on IR, Atwell had a part to play, totaling 160 yards & a TD in 2 games prior to injury. I don’t expect a heavy target share in his first game back, however the Lions rank 31st against the pass. With all the attention on Nacua & Adams, Tutu could sneak through the secondary for a surprise performance.
MIN at DAL
JJ McCarthy - Dallas defense may have improved but they still rank dead last against the pass. McCarthy showed improvement last week against a poor Commanders defense with a modest 163 pass yards but 3 TDs. The Cowboys defense should afford the chance for an encore fantasy performance worthy of a start.
MIA at PIT
Greg Dulcich - Darren Waller’s injury opened the door for Dulcich to get involved. He has been on the field for half the team’s offensive snaps averaging about 4 targets a game. The Steelers are one of the most favorable defenses for opposing tight ends. If TJ Watt misses the game (expected) the Dolphins need their TEs less as blockers meaning Dulcich should be in line for his best game as a Dolphin.
