Quarterbacks
Bo Nix at Cardinals
The issues with Nix have been well broadcasted but in case you missed it, his average depth of target this season is shorter than a SUV. Needless to say, it’s been bad. If ever a game to get Nix & the Broncos pass attack back on track it is against the Cardinals. Since week 1, the Cards have given up over 250 pass yards and 3 TDs to opposing QBs.
JJ McCarthy at Texans
I don’t trust JJMC but I do like the fact that he is throwing to Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely. I also like the matchup facing a vulnerable Texans secondary who have surprisingly given up over 300 pass yards in half their games. The fact that the Giants ground game continues to be inconsistent means they could rely more on the pass than one would think.
Running Backs
Rico Dowdle at Saints
In his first game back from injury, Dowdle’s touches were modest only seeing 10. He did however average over 5.7 yards per carry. Now back in game shape, he faces a Saints team that ranks dead last against the running back position this season. His ceiling is capped with Jaylen Warren leading the backfield but there’s enough potential in this game for Dowdle to have a start worthy performance.
Bam Knight vs Broncos
Jeremiyah Love is out again this week which means it will be Tyler Allgeier & Knight leading the run game. What we saw last week and what head coach Mike LaFleur said to expect is that Bam Knight will be the lead / short yard runner while Allgeier the 3rd down / change of pace runner. Last week Knight had 15 carries for 80 yards. He also caught all 3 of his targets. After the Broncos were steamrolled by Kenneth Walker in week 1, they have tighted up against the run but not an intimidating matchup. The opportunity is still there for Knight to get 15-20 touches and approach 100 yards again.
Tyrone Tracy at Texans
It is weird to see Tracy with relevance in 2026. One of the reasons is because Cam Skattebo appears to have fallen out of favor due to fumbling issues, which is highly ironic considering Tracy’s history with holding onto the football. However here we are. The Giants also cut Najee Harris so even less competition for touches. Tracy hardly impressed this season and the matchup isn’t great. But he does excel as a pass down runner which could serve well as McCarthy’s check down. Tracy scored twice last week and could be in line for enough work to hit paydirt once again.
Wide Receivers / Tight Ends
Colby Parkinson at Raiders
The Rams are without Davante Adams and now Puka Nacua is questionable. When the Rams have been down Adams or Nacua this season they have turned to their tight ends. Terrance Ferguson is still out which means Tyler Higbee and Colby Parkinson are in line for more usage. The Raiders have given up 6 scores to tight ends in 6 games this season. On National Tight Ends Day I expect another end zone trip.
Ryan Flournoy at Eagles
Flournoy is a forgotten man behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. But he has quietly made noise the past 2 weeks with 130 yards and a touchdown. This week he faces a reeling Eagles team that are ranked 4th worst against opposing wide receivers. There has also been some back & forth with Pickens and head coach Brian Schottenheimer over GP’s effort. That’s probably much ado about nothing but if it isn’t, Flournoy could be in for more snap & target share in a plus matchup.
Mason Taylor vs Dolphins
The Dolphins have given up a touchdown or 100 yards to a tight end in every game since week 1. While Kenyon Sadiq is the big name after being drafted in the 1st round this year, it is Taylor who is getting the higher snap share. Considering it is National Tight Ends day, I expect his best fantasy game of the year.
Evan Engram at Cardinals
How hard is it to trust the Denver Broncos pass game? Very. How hard is it to trust Engram? Even more. But have I mentioned it is National Tight Ends day on Sunday? Did you know the Cardinals have given up a tight end touchdown in each of their last 4 games? Engram is in position to make it 5 for 5.
Jordan Watkins at Falcons
Sometimes opportunity knocks and that’s the situation with Watkins. The 49ers wide receiver room has been decimated. Last week, Watkins saw his snap share rise significantly as a result. This week the Niners face a Falcons defense that has been far better against the run than the pass. I expect an “anyone but CMC” approach by the Atlanta defense & with George Kittle attracting more attention it could leave Watkins with a surprising target share and stat line.
